Crawley and Gatwick Notaries works with a number of private clients based both in the UK and overseas. Often, work includes validating the execution of documents, proof of identity, providing authenticated copies of important documents including passports, and providing the all-important notarial support at point of sale or purchase for properties abroad.
Timescales
We normally expect to deal with the notarisation of a document within two days of receiving it. Where documents require legalisation under the Hague Convention, it would normally take up to one week to obtain the Apostille by post. However, it can be done via the Foreign Office, 'Same Day Premium Service' if required.
Documents that require Consularisation (particularly members of the Arab League), timescales will vary but we will endeavour to give you an indication according to which country we are dealing with.

We are able to help with all Powers of Attorney matters related to foreign jurisdictions - in respect of property and/or finances in a jurisdiction outside the UK. This is important for all matters, especially related to contentious litigation.
